At Shrishaay Madhurakriti, we use 100% Pure Wood. Because wood is a natural, living material, please be advised of the following:
Grain and Color: No two pieces of wood are identical. Variations in grain patterns, knots, and natural wood coloring are inherent characteristics of the material and are not considered defects.
Environmental Changes: Natural wood may react to changes in temperature and humidity (especially in varying climates across India). Minor expansions, contractions, or tiny “breathing” cracks over time are natural properties of solid timber and do not signify a lack of quality.
3. Handmade Artistry Disclaimer (The Human Touch)
Our products are not CNC-machine made. Every item is carved by hand.
Unique Variations: Because our work relies on human craftsmanship, there may be slight symmetry differences or minor “tool marks” that distinguish handmade art from factory-molded plastic or machine-cut wood. These variations are the “signature” of the artist and add to the value and uniqueness of your piece.
Product Images: We strive to display the colors and textures of our products as accurately as possible. However, the actual color you see will depend on your monitor/screen settings and the lighting in which the wood was photographed.
4. Religious & Spiritual Sentiment
While we craft our religious idols and Prabhavalis with the utmost reverence and traditional proportions, our products are sold as artistic representations. The spiritual significance and “Pran Pratishtha” (consecration) of any religious idol are the sole responsibility of the buyer/practitioner.
